
Meeting in Paris between Trump, Zelensky and Macron on war in Ukraine
The leaders confront each other during the ceremony for the reopening of Notre Dame
Today, 7 December 2024, in Paris, Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron met on the occasion of the reopening of Notre Dame. The meeting between the leaders provided an opportunity to discuss the war between Ukraine and Russia. Zelensky, who travelled from Kiev, attended the meeting at the Elysée Palace, where Trump and Macron had already met.
After a 35-minute meeting, Zelensky described the meeting as ‘productive’, emphasising the common commitment to a just and swift peace. Macron emphasised on X the collaboration between the US, France and Ukraine for global security.
