After Trump’s announcement of a 60-day truce, the Palestinian group says it is open to an agreement. Netanyahu expected at the White House

Hamas is ready for an agreement to stop the war. This was stated by Taher al-Nunu, spokesman for the group, in an interview published by the Times of Israel, after US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a proposed 60-day truce. ‘We are ready to accept any initiative that clearly leads to a complete end to the war,’ al-Nunu said.

In recent hours, Trump announced that Israel has accepted the terms for a temporary ceasefire, during which the United States will work with the parties to end the conflict. ‘My representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis on Gaza,’ he wrote on Truth, hoping that Hamas will accept the proposal put forward with the mediation of Qatar and Egypt.

Benjamin Netanyahu will be at the White House next Monday to discuss the agreement and the regional situation. In addition to President Trump, the Israeli prime minister will meet with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth, envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick.

Trump announced that the recent attack on the Iranian nuclear site in Fordo, described as “annihilation” by US leaders, will also be discussed in the meeting with Netanyahu. The president cited the Atomic Energy Commission, which reportedly confirmed that the targeted facility was completely unusable.

Iran reacted by suspending cooperation with the IAEA, based on a law passed by Parliament and promulgated by President Masoud Pezeshkian. This was announced by Iranian state television. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that the Fordo site had suffered “serious damage”, according to statements made to CBS.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian emergency in Gaza continues. According to Haaretz, 81 victims were recorded yesterday in the enclave’s hospitals.

Finally, the Jerusalem District Court has postponed Netanyahu’s testimony, scheduled for next week in the trial in which he is charged with fraud, breach of trust and corruption. The postponement was motivated by his official visit to the United States. The prime minister’s last appearance in court was on 11 June.
