Christopher Raia of the FBI rules out connections between the two attacks
During a press conference, Christopher Raia, deputy assistant director of the FBI, stated that there is no ‘irrefutable link’ between the attack in New Orleans and the Tesla Cybertruck explosion that occurred in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. Investigators recovered three mobile phones and two laptops linked to Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the suspect in the New Orleans attack.
According to FBI reports, Jabbar had planted two IEDs, one on Bourbon Street and the other two blocks away from the bombing area. However, there is currently no evidence of a connection between the two events involving several US cities.
