38-page document reveals “Great Trust” project involving Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates

The plan – A 38-page internal document from the Trump administration, revealed by the Washington Post, outlines a radical reconstruction of the Gaza Strip after the war. The proposal calls for the transfer of all Palestinians from the enclave and the creation of a US technology hub, under the brand name Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust (Great Trust).

The details – Palestinian landowners would be offered a digital token in exchange for development rights: the token could be used to finance life outside Gaza or to redeem an apartment in future “artificial intelligence-based smart cities”. The US would retain control of the enclave for at least ten years before gradually transferring management to a local police force supported by Western private military companies.

Actors involved – The project mentions infrastructure such as a ring motorway and a transport system named after Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) and Emirati leader Mohammed bin Zayed (MBZ). The depopulated and rebuilt Strip would become a private industrial centre with potential partners such as Tesla and Amazon Web Services.

Origins and developers – The proposal was developed by the same Israeli entrepreneurs who created the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which is now active in distributing food within the enclave. Among the promoters are Michael Eisenberg, an Israeli-American entrepreneur, and Liran Tancman, a former Israeli military intelligence officer, who began working on the project in coordination with international experts and potential investors.
