A aeronave bateu em um prédio e se chocou contra uma loja de móveis

Tragédia em Gramado, na Serra Gaúcha, onde um avião de pequeno porte caiu na manhã deste domingo, 22 de dezembro de 2024. Todos os 10 ocupantes da aeronave morreram, conforme confirmado pelo governador do Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite. Outras 17 pessoas foram levadas ao hospital, duas delas em estado grave, enquanto as demais sofreram inalação de fumaça, segundo o Corpo de Bombeiros.

A aeronave havia decolado do Aeroclube de Canela, uma localidade próxima, e seguia para Jundiaí, no interior de São Paulo. No momento do acidente, a região estava afetada por chuva e neblina, o que pode ter contribuído para o desastre.

A Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Rio Grande do Sul informou que o avião colidiu primeiro com a chaminé de um prédio, depois com o segundo andar de uma casa e, em seguida, bateu em uma loja de móveis. Os destroços também atingiram uma pousada na Avenida das Hortênsias.
