President orders extraordinary action against illegal immigration and violent protests: ‘Those who obstruct the law will end up before a judge’

Trump announces extraordinary measures: “Order restored, immediate deportations”
President Donald Trump announced through Truth Social that he has authorised “all necessary actions” to counter what he calls an “immigration invasion” in the city of Los Angeles. The statement comes after new incidents of tension related to federal deportation operations.

‘Violent mobs against our agents’
Trump denounced insurrectionary acts by groups he said were attempting to thwart federal forces engaged in deportations. “Violent, insurrectionist mobs are attacking our agents in an attempt to stop the deportations. But order will be restored,’ he said.

Warning to local officials
The president also issued a warning to officials who, in his view, obstruct the implementation of the federal measures: “Those who obstruct the law will end up before a judge”. The plan calls for an acceleration of expulsions and a strengthening of the federal presence in the city.
