Trump’s plan for Gaza outlines a detailed road map to end the conflict and begin rebuilding the Strip. The US president proposes an immediate ceasefire, the release of all hostages kidnapped in Israel within 72 hours and amnesty for Hamas members who lay down their arms and renounce any political role.

The future of the Strip, defined as “free from terrorism”, would be governed by a Palestinian technical government under the supervision of the “Peace Council”, an international body led by Donald Trump with the participation of other world leaders, including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Immediate cessation of military operations and gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces
Release of living hostages and remains of the deceased in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners
Amnesty for Hamas members who choose peaceful coexistence or expatriation
Immediate entry of humanitarian aid, reconstruction of infrastructure and hospitals, removal of rubble
Creation of a special economic zone and launch of a major economic development plan to attract investment and jobs
Complete demilitarisation of Gaza, with the destruction of military infrastructure and supervision by independent observers
Temporary presence of an International Stabilisation Force (ISF) to train the new Palestinian police force and ensure border security
Dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a shared political horizon, without envisaging the creation of a Palestinian state in the short term.

The Trump plan for Gaza stipulates that Israel will not annex the Strip but will maintain a security perimeter until complete protection from terrorist threats is guaranteed. The United States, together with Arab and international partners, will ensure that Hamas respects its commitments, while also promoting a process of interfaith dialogue based on tolerance and coexistence.

If Hamas rejects the agreement, aid delivery and the redevelopment of areas already liberated from terrorism will continue under the management of the Peace Council.
