Terapia intensiva al collasso in Baviera, tra gli stati più colpiti dalla quarta ondata Covid in Germania. Un paziente affetto in modo grave dal coroavirus è stato trasferito in Italia per poter ricevere le cure necessarie. Lo riferisce il sito di informazione Merkur, spiegando che la decisione è stata determinata dal fatto che sono esauriti i letti a disposizione nel reparto dell’ospedale della città di Frisinga. Il paziente è stato trasferito in un ospedale di Merano nel Sud Tirolo, in Alto Adige, dal servizio di soccorso e con la collaborazione dei vigili del fuoco. Anche gli altri ospedali della Baviera avevano esaurito la disponibilità di ricoverare pazienti in terapia intensiva.

Gerhard Hochleitner, comandante dei vigili del fuoco di Moosburg, ha spiegato che i suoi uomini sono intervenuti perché l’ambulanza in cui si trovava il paziente non poteva immagazzinare ossigeno a sufficienza.
