The names of the hostages to be released: Ofer Kalderon, Keith Siegel and Yarden Bibas. The Israeli government received the list

The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced through a message on Telegram the release of three Israeli hostages, held for over a year in the Gaza Strip. The news was picked up by al-Jazeera satellite TV, and concerns Ofer Kalderon, Keith Siegel and Yarden Bibas.

Bibas, whose release is particularly significant, is the husband of Shiri and father of Kfir and Ariel, the youngest of the hostages kidnapped in the 7 October 2023 attack in Israel. The Israeli government confirmed receipt of the list of prisoners to be released, as reported by the Jerusalem Post.
