Ohad Ben Ami, Eli Sharabi and Or Levy will be released on Saturday

Hamas has released the names of three Israeli hostages to be released on Saturday, a few hours later than the original deadline of 4pm today, Friday 7 February. The confirmation came from both the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office and the Hostages Families Forum.

The three hostages are Ohad Ben Ami, 56, Eli Sharabi, 52, and Or Levy, 34.

Sharabi was abducted on 7 October 2023 from Kibbutz Be’eri, where his wife and daughters were killed by Hamas terrorists. His brother Yossi was also taken hostage, but was later declared and confirmed dead and his body is still in the hands of Hamas.

Levy was kidnapped during the Supernova rave near Kibbutz Re’im. His wife Einav was killed in the attack, while their three-year-old son Almog has been in the care of his grandparents since 7 October.

Ben Ami was kidnapped in Be’eri together with his wife, Raz Ben Ami, who was released in November 2023 during a ceasefire.
