Trump opens up on the possibility of a third term: ‘There are ways to do it’
The US president considers possibilities beyond the confines of the 22nd Amendment, assuring that many are asking him to do so…
Donald Trump is not ruling out the possibility of seeking a third term as president of the United States, although the Constitution prohibits this option with the 22nd Amendment. During an interview with Nbc, the president explained that there are several ways to do so, making it clear that the issue is no joke. ‘A lot of people want me to do it,’ Trump said, specifying, however, that for now he is focused on the current term.
When asked if he had been offered any concrete plans for a possible third term, Trump confirmed the existence of legal ways, mentioning the possibility of Vice President JD Vance running for office and subsequently passing the baton to him.
