Donald Trump has made it clear he has no intention of deporting Prince Harry from the US, ending speculation about his immigration status. Interviewed by the New York Post, the president dismissed the topic with a quip: ‘I’m not going to do it. I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife.’
Trump then shifted his focus to Prince William, with whom he had a private meeting in December in Paris, on the occasion of the ceremony for the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral. ‘I think William is a great person,’ she commented.
The relationship between the Sussexes and Trump has often been strained. In the past, both Harry and Meghan Markle have been critical of him, with the former actress calling him ‘divisive’ and ‘misogynistic’.
