After judges, political opponents and journalists, now he goes after the ICC

Donald Trump is ready to sign an executive order to sanction the International Criminal Court (ICC), guilty – according to him – of raging against the United States and Israel. After fighting judges, political opponents and journalists, the US president has now found a new target: the Hague magistrates, guilty of issuing arrest warrants against Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli defence minister.

The order, anticipated by Nbc News, includes economic sanctions and visa restrictions for the ICC officials and even their family members. The reason? Daring to investigate US citizens and Washington allies. According to the Trump administration, the court would have created a ‘shameful moral equivalence’ between Israel and Hamas. And, of course, Trump cannot tolerate that.
