
Philadelphia: Jet-ambulance crash, one man killed and 19 injured VIDEO
The crash over a residential and business district left a tragic balance: all six people on board died and one man was killed by the jet inside the car
A dramatic accident struck the city of Philadelphia yesterday when a private jet-ambulance, carrying six people, including a child, crashed into a residential and commercial area in the northeast of the city. The death toll tragically rose to seven, as in addition to the six people on board the plane, one victim was found on the ground, inside a car that had been hit by the aircraft.
Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker confirmed the news, pointing out that the victim on the ground was in her vehicle at the time of the impact. In addition, 19 people were injured, some of them in serious condition.
Emergency teams, including fire brigade and police, were quickly on the scene to secure the area and rescue the injured. The accident also caused a large fire that damaged several nearby homes and cars.
