An Altoona man is being questioned in connection with the murder of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. He was carrying a weapon compatible with the murder weapon

Pennsylvania authorities have detained an Altoona man for possible involvement in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who was killed last Wednesday in front of the New York Hilton Midtown. The suspect possessed a gun that was compatible with the one used in the murder. At the moment, the police have made no further statements on the matter.

The masked gunman shot Thompson in the back, fleeing first on foot and then on a bicycle towards Central Park. Surveillance images eventually placed him at the Upper Manhattan bus depot, where the police search was concentrated.
