Victoria Jones dead on New Year’s night in a luxury hotel in San Francisco, California. The 34-year-old woman was the daughter of Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones. The news was first reported by celebrity gossip site TMZ, citing law enforcement sources.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, emergency responders were dispatched at 2:52 a.m. to the Fairmont San Francisco following a medical emergency call. Upon arrival, paramedics pronounced Victoria Jones dead at the scene. The location was then turned over to police officers and the Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.
The San Francisco Police Department confirmed that officers responded at 3:14 a.m. to a report of a deceased person. The Medical Examiner conducted an initial assessment, but the cause of death has not yet been disclosed, and no additional details have been released at this time.
Victoria Jones dead was born to Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. She briefly pursued a career in entertainment, making her film debut in 2002 in Men in Black II.
She later appeared in the television series One Tree Hill (2003) and in the film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), directed by her father. The film also involved her stepmother, Dawn Laurel-Jones, who worked as the set photographer.
No official statements have been issued by representatives of Tommy Lee Jones. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Victoria Jones dead inside the hotel.
