Will Smith sexual assault lawsuit emerges after allegations by violinist Brian King Joseph following the 2025 tour

Will Smith sexual assault lawsuit. The American actor and rapper has been sued by violinist Brian King Joseph, who took part in Smith’s Based on a True Story: 2025 Tour. The civil complaint, filed in a Los Angeles court, accuses Smith of sexual assault and also names his company, Treyball Studios Management, for wrongful termination.

According to Variety, which reviewed the court filing, Joseph was initially hired in November 2024 for a concert in San Diego before being added to the full tour and involved in the production of a new album. Over time, the professional relationship allegedly became increasingly personal, with conduct that the violinist describes as unwanted and inappropriate.

The lawsuit claims that Smith told Joseph: “You and I have a special connection that I don’t have with anyone else”, a statement cited as part of a broader pattern underlying the Will Smith sexual assault lawsuit.

The filing details an incident that allegedly occurred in March in Las Vegas during a tour stop. Joseph states that someone entered his hotel room — booked by Smith’s company — and left personal items, including HIV medication prescribed to someone other than Will Smith, along with a handwritten note. The message reportedly read: “Brian, I’ll be back no later than 5:30, just us”, signed “Stone F” and marked with a heart.

Joseph says he reported the incident to hotel security and tour management. However, according to the complaint, he was accused of lying and blamed for the situation. He alleges that he was fired a few days later.

The violinist claims he suffered severe emotional distress, including post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as significant financial losses. As of now, neither Will Smith nor his representatives have commented publicly on the Will Smith sexual assault lawsuit.
