The incident, reported by the US media, occurred in the hotel’s valet parking area. Local authorities immediately responded to the scene to investigate the cause of the explosion.
Elon Musk: Tesla investigates the incident
Following the event, Tesla CEO Elon Musk issued a statement on Platform X, in which he expressed his surprise at the incident: ‘The entire senior Tesla team is currently investigating the matter. We will publish more information as soon as we know anything. We have never seen anything like this.’ Investigations are continuing to determine the cause of the explosion and whether there are any technical responsibilities related to the vehicle.
