Local authorities have identified the person responsible for yesterday’s shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin. It is 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, called ‘Samantha’. According to local police chief Shon Barnes, investigations and evidence gathered at the scene indicate that the girl died while being transported to hospital from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Authorities are also investigating the girl’s family, in particular her father, who was heard by the police. At the moment, there is no indication of criminal responsibility on his part, and no investigation is underway to charge him ‘at this stage’.
