L’ex tesoriere della Lega Francesco Belsito è stato assolto dai giudici della Corte d’Appello di Genova dall’accusa di danno d’immagine per la quale il Carroccio aveva chiesto un risarcimento di 500 mila euro.

La sentenza di assoluzione riguarda Belsito, a processo insieme a tre imprenditori, e fa seguito all’inchiesta sui fondi della Lega dopo i quali il partito avrebbe avuto un calo dei consensi elettorali tra gli anni 2011 e 2013.

“Questa è una vittoria fondamentale e importante, sono soddisfatto, finalmente sta tornando la giustizia”, ha detto all’AdnKronos Belsito. “E’ una grandissima soddisfazione”, sottolinea .
