Brogli elettorali sono stati rilevati da un’indagine della Digos di Reggio Calabria in occasione delle elezioni amministrative avvenute nel comune di Reggio Calabria nel settembre 2020. In particolare la Digos, coordinata dalla locale Procura della Repubblica, ha eseguito un’ordinanza di custodia cautelare emessa a carico di sei indagati, a vario titolo, per ipotesi di alterazione del voto, falsità ideologica in atto pubblico e abuso d’ufficio.

Nei loro confronti, il gip del Tribunale di Reggio Calabria, accogliendo le richieste della Procura che coordina le indagini, ha disposto la misura cautelare degli arresti domiciliari, mentre in un caso, la misura interdittiva della sospensione dall’esercizio del pubblico.
