Elezioni Australia 2022 ai laburisti, vince Anthony Albanese

Il leader laburista Anthony Albanese ha vinto le elezioni in Australia: battuto il governo conservatore guidato da Scott Morrison. L’italo-australiano Albanese è destinato a diventare il primo capo del governo di origini non angloceltiche, con la possibilità, stando alle proiezioni di Abc, di dar vita almeno a un governo di minoranza, disponendo al momento di 72 seggi, quattro in meno di quelli necessari per la maggioranza. Alla coalizione conservatrice del premier Scott Morrison sarebbero andati solo 49 seggi. Morrison ha chiamato l’avversario per riconoscere la propria sconfitta elettorale.

“Questa è una notte di delusione per i liberali e i nazionali, ma è anche il momento per la Coalizione, i membri e i sostenitori in tutto il Paese di restare a testa alta. Siamo stati un governo forte, siamo stati un buon governo, l’Australia è più forte come risultato del nostro impegno in questi ultimi tre mandati”, ha dichiarato Morrison.
