Trump’s vulgarity in Alabama: “Now the internet people are kissing my ass”
US president returns to colorful tones: new ironic attack on big tech and praise for Elon Musk
Donald Trump is back in the news with one of his most colorful expressions. During a speech at the University of Alabama, the U.S. president declared, “The internet overlords are kissing my ass,” eliciting laughter and applause from the audience.
In his speech, Trump quoted Elon Musk calling him “fantastic,” and added, “Now I know them all, they hated me during my first term, but now they are all kissing my ass.”
This is not the first time the president has used this provocative language: back in early April, during a Republican Party event, he used the phrase ‘kissing my ass’ referring to countries affected by U.S. tariffs. “Now they are calling everyone to come here and kiss my ass,” he had stated.
The direct and unfiltered tone remains a hallmark of Trump, especially in public settings where he seeks to reinforce his image as an out-of-the-box leader in stark contrast to the elite.
