New York Times reports that three interview summaries referenced in DOJ inventory were not included in published documents

Among the millions of pages released by the United States Department of Justice in connection with the Epstein files, key FBI reports related to sexual assault allegations against Donald Trump are reportedly missing.

According to The New York Times, the absent documents concern a woman who, in 2019, came forward shortly after the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein. She alleged that she had been sexually assaulted by Epstein and Trump in the 1980s, when she was a minor.

The Times reports that the existence of multiple FBI interview summaries is confirmed by an investigative materials inventory that was made public. The list specifies that the FBI conducted four interviews related to the woman’s allegations and produced written reports for each session. However, among the documents released by the Justice Department, only one report appears — the one detailing her allegations against Epstein. The other three reports, which reportedly concern her statements involving Trump, were not included in the published files.

When contacted by the Times, the Justice Department stated that, during its review, it withheld only documents that were “protected by secrecy” or were duplicates. In a subsequent clarification, the department added that materials connected to “ongoing federal investigations” were also retained and not released.

The absence of the three FBI reports has raised questions about the completeness of the document disclosure and the criteria used to determine which investigative materials would be made public.
