Documents relate to interviews conducted in 2019 with a woman who said she met Trump through Jeffrey Epstein when she was a minor

The FBI reports on Donald Trump sexual assault allegation have been released by the U.S. Department of Justice, bringing renewed attention to claims made by a woman who said she was introduced to the former president by financier Jeffrey Epstein when she was a minor.

The publication of the FBI reports on Donald Trump sexual assault allegation follows criticism in recent days from Democratic lawmakers and several U.S. media outlets, which noted that the documents had not been included in the broader set of Epstein-related files made public in recent weeks. The omission had fueled accusations that the Trump administration was attempting to conceal potential links between the president and the convicted sex offender.

According to the documents, the reports summarize three interviews conducted by the FBI in August and October 2019. The conversations took place during Trump’s first term in office and shortly after Epstein died by suicide in a New York federal jail.

In the interviews, the woman — whose name is redacted in the documents — told investigators that when she was between 13 and 15 years old she traveled with Epstein to New York or New Jersey. She said that in what she described as “a very tall building with huge rooms,” Epstein introduced her to Trump.

During the meeting, the woman said Trump criticized her appearance, telling her she looked like a “tomboy,” a term commonly used in the United States to describe a girl with traditionally masculine traits.

The woman told FBI agents that Trump asked to be left alone with her and then attempted to force her to perform oral sex. According to her account, he allegedly struck her when she resisted and bit him.

The woman also reported receiving threatening phone calls over time, which she believed could be linked to Epstein or “the other one,” a reference she said was to Trump.

Trump has consistently denied any involvement in Epstein’s activities and has said he ended his friendship with the financier before the first allegations against Epstein became public.

The FBI reports on Donald Trump sexual assault allegation add to a long history of accusations of sexual misconduct directed at Trump. In 2023, a federal jury found him liable for sexual abuse and defamation in the case brought by writer E. Jean Carroll, who accused him of raping her in a New York department store in the 1990s. Carroll was awarded tens of millions of dollars in damages after the jury determined that Trump had defamed her.
