The Trump-Musk saga continues with virtual “slaps in the face.” The US president threatens the billionaire after accusations about the Epstein files and posts on X. No intention of mending relations with Musk, described as “disrespectful” towards the presidency

Tensions continue between Donald Trump, President of the United States, and Elon Musk, CEO of X and Tesla. In an interview with NBC, Trump issued a stern warning to Musk, threatening “very serious consequences” if he decides to fund Democratic candidates against Republicans in the context of the budget law dispute.

The president also dismissed as “old news” allegations of his involvement in files linked to Jeffrey Epstein, the financier who committed suicide in 2019, responding to Musk’s recent statements on social media. “Even Epstein’s lawyer said I had nothing to do with it,” Trump said, pointing out that this is an issue that has been discussed for years.

Regarding a possible reconciliation, Trump ruled out any reconciliation with Musk: “He did a very bad thing, he was very disrespectful. You can’t disrespect the presidency,” the president concluded.
