Murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO: compelling evidence against Luigi Mangione
Investigations confirm the match between the bullets and the seized gun. Mangione’s fingerprints further incriminate him
New York Police Chief Jessica Tisch said evidence gathered at the scene of the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson nails Luigi Mangione, who was arrested as a suspect. The bullets found at the crime scene are a perfect match for the gun seized during his arrest.
‘The gun is now in the police laboratories and we were able to match it with three shell casings recovered at the scene of the murder,’ Tisch told a press conference. Mangione’s fingerprints were also found on a water bottle and the wrapper of a Kind bar found near the crime scene, further strengthening the accusatory picture against him.
