Dawn attacks on several areas of the Strip. Hamas civil defence speaks of civilian casualties, including women and children

New airstrikes by the Israeli army hit the Gaza Strip this morning at dawn. According to Hamas civil defence, at least 25 people were killed in the raids conducted by IDF (Israel Defence Forces) fighters, and women and children were among the victims.

The raids affected several locations in the Palestinian territory, already hard hit by months of war. Official Israeli sources have not at the moment provided a detailed assessment of the operations, but stated that the targets hit were linked to the activities of jihadist militants.
