Israel: agreement on Palestinian prisoner release after Netanyahu stop, free in 110
Israeli sources confirm the agreement after the postponement decided by Netanyahu for the pictures from Gaza. 110 prisoners released
After the postponement decided by Prime Minister Benjamín Netanyahu, an agreement has been reached for the release of the Palestinian detainees planned as part of the Israeli hostage exchange. This was reported by Israeli sources quoted by Ynet, according to which the releases should take place in the coming hours.
The halt imposed by Netanyahu had come following the release of pictures from Gaza, which allegedly raised tensions in the government and public opinion. However, after a series of negotiations, the agreement was confirmed and the operation can continue as planned.
As a result, 110 Palestinian prisoners were released, some of them sentenced to life imprisonment.
