Trump: “Get the homeless out of Washington, now”

The president announces a press conference on August 11 on new measures for the capital

Donald Trump is preparing drastic measures to tackle the problem of homelessness in the capital. In a post on Truth Social, the president announced that on Monday, August 11, he will outline his strategy to “make our capital safer and more beautiful than ever before.” In recent weeks, Trump has repeatedly criticized the management of public order in Washington, including the area around the White House.

“We will move them away from the capital”
“The homeless must leave, immediately. We will offer you a place to stay, but away from the capital,” wrote the president, specifying that “criminals must not move: we will put them in jail, where they deserve to be.” Trump promised swift action, comparing the strategy to the crackdown on illegal immigration at the borders.

Goal: “Take back our capital”
The president claimed success for his immigration policies, saying he had reduced illegal entries from “millions to zero” in recent months. “It will be easier here, be ready. There will be no more ‘Mr. Nice Guy’. We want our capital back,” he concluded.
