US House passes bill to release all Epstein case files

Bipartisan measure passes 427–1; Donald Trump backs potential declassification

The Epstein case files could face public scrutiny after the US House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved a bill requiring the Justice Department to disclose all related documents. The measure passed 427–1, with Republican Clay Higgins of Louisiana the only dissenting vote, and now moves to the Senate for consideration.

This bipartisan effort, led by Representative Thomas Massie, a Republican, and Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat, highlights the growing demand for transparency in one of the most high-profile criminal cases of recent years.

Donald Trump had repeatedly dismissed attention on the Epstein case files, calling it a “hoax” orchestrated by Democrats. Yet yesterday, he indicated support for giving the green light to declassification, aligning himself with efforts to make the documents potentially available—though any release still depends on Senate approval.
