U.S. offers $10 million bounty on Mojtaba Khamenei

U.S. offers million bounty on Mojtaba Khamenei

Washington places of Iran’s supreme leader and other senior officials on a reward list as the intelligence hunt linked to Operation Epic Fury intensifies

The U.S. is offering $10 million for information on Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s new Supreme Leader, and other prominent figures in the regime. The decision is part of the U.S. strategy to gather intelligence on the leadership of the Revolutionary Guards as Operation Epic Fury continues.

The announcement was made through the “Reward for Justice” account, the State Department program that offers rewards for information useful to U.S. authorities.

In addition to Mojtaba Khamenei, the list also includes Ali Larijani, Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, and Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.

According to the message published by the U.S. program, these figures “command and direct various units of the Revolutionary Guards that plan, organize, and carry out terrorist acts around the world.”

For this reason, Washington is offering rewards of up to $10 million to anyone who provides useful information about them.

The post urges anyone with information on these or other key Pasdaran leaders to contact the program via a secure line based on the Tor network or through the Signal messaging app. The information provided, the message states, could allow the informant to receive a reward and be safely relocated.

The U.S. is offering $10 million for information on Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran goes through a period of intense political and military tension. The Iranian leader came to power after the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in bombings carried out by the United States and Israel at the start of the war.

Since then, the new leader has not appeared in public, limiting himself to a message broadcast on state television.

According to U.S. President Donald Trump, the Iranian regime is destined to weaken. Trump maintains that the leadership in Tehran was hit hard in the early stages of the conflict and believes a change in power in the country is possible, though not immediate.

The president also hinted that military pressure against Iran could increase in the coming days, while maintaining that the war could end quickly.
