Denis Kapustin alive: Kiev collects Russian funds to kill him

Denis Kapustin alive after the failure of an operation by Moscow’s secret services: Ukrainian intelligence seizes the money intended for the murder

Denis Kapustin alive: Kiev collects Russian funds to kill him – Denis Kapustin is alive and, according to Kiev, with a result that goes beyond mere survival. Ukrainian military intelligence has revealed that it foiled an operation by the Russian secret services aimed at eliminating him, also managing to seize the entire sum intended to finance the murder.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has confirmed that Moscow had allocated approximately $500,000 to kill Kapustin, known as White Rex and commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC). The operation, which lasted over a month, ended with the total failure of the Russian plan and the recovery of the funds by Kiev.

According to the Ukrainian authorities, the money collected will now be used to strengthen military capabilities, in particular the development and deployment of drones against Russian forces. This outcome transforms an assassination attempt into economic and operational damage for Moscow’s security services.

News of Kapustin’s alleged death began circulating on 27 December, with references to a drone attack on the Zaporizhzhia front. Even the RVC initially spoke of “preliminary reports” that he had been killed. According to Kiev, this information was part of the cover-up for the counter-espionage operation.

Denis Kapustin is alive and currently in Ukraine, ready to return to lead the Russian Volunteer Corps in operations against Moscow. Considered a personal enemy by Russian President Vladimir Putin, he remains a leading figure in the information and military war, while the failure of the plan to eliminate him represents a further setback for Russian intelligence.
