Israeli government united in Decision as Trump once again fears unleashing hell in the Strip
Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu announced a unanimous decision made by the government: ‘If Hamas does not return the hostages by Saturday noon,’ without specifying the number, ‘the ceasefire will be terminated and the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) will return to intensive fighting until Hamas is finally defeated.’ This statement underlines the Israeli government’s determination to ensure the release of the hostages.
Israeli Military Preparations
Netanyahu further stated that ‘in light of Hamas’ announcement of its decision to violate the agreement and not release our hostages, last night I ordered the IDF to gather forces in and around the Gaza Strip. This move indicates that Israel is ready to resume military operations in response to Hamas’ non-compliance with the agreement.
Donald Trump’s Position
Former US President Donald Trump also expressed a firm stance against Hamas, threatening retaliation against the Islamic terrorist group. Trump reiterated his ultimatum to Hamas to release ‘all’ hostages by Saturday. Already yesterday, Trump had threatened ‘hell’ if the pledge was not met, demonstrating his intention to put pressure on Hamas to secure the release of the hostages.
