Tel Aviv, nearly half a million people take to the streets to demand the release of hostages
The Families Forum estimates up to one million participants across Israel
According to the Forum of Israeli Hostage Families, approximately 500,000 people gathered last night in Tel Aviv in the so-called Hostage Square and surrounding streets to demand that the government take concrete measures to secure the release of citizens held by Hamas.
There are no official figures, but the Forum emphasizes that the demonstration represents the will of the entire population to end the war and secure the release of all hostages. According to the organization, considering the numerous protests throughout the country, the total number of participants could be close to one million.
