Trump: ‘Ukraine without US aid would not survive? Not even if it had it’
Trump responds bluntly on the consequences of stopping US support for Kiev
Ukraine, according to Donald Trump, could not survive without US aid, but not even with it. In an exclusive interview with Fox News, the president responded in this way when asked about the repercussions of a possible stop to US funding and military supplies to Kiev. Trump stressed that despite the economic and military support received, the situation on the ground remains critical, with Russia continuing to exert strong pressure, especially on the Kursk region.
According to Trump, Ukraine’s handling of the war has been unsuccessful, and he also criticised President Zelensky’s leadership. ‘Zelensky has received huge sums, but he has done nothing significant,’ said Trump, pointing out that, with him in the White House, the war would never have started.
Trump then reiterated his unyielding attitude towards Russia, claiming that he was tougher than anyone else. At the same time, he criticised Europe for continuing to finance Russia through energy purchases, while the US spent billions of dollars supporting Ukraine.
Finally, Trump also spoke about economic issues, predicting a possible recession in the US but defending his policy of returning wealth to America. ‘We are no longer the chickens to be plucked,’ he said, accusing the globalists of damaging the American economy for decades.
