Sexual abuse: Caroline Darian, daughter of Gisele Pelicot denounces father Dominique Pelicot
Gisele Pelicot’s daughter, Caroline Darian, has denounced her father for ten years of sexual abuse, a charge added to the sentence already handed down to Dominique Pelicot for the same crimes against her mother
Caroline Darian accused her father Dominique Pelicot of sexually abusing her for more than ten years, from 2010 to 2020. In an interview, the 45-year-old woman explained that she filed a complaint with the court of Versailles, accusing her father of drugging and sexually abusing her, an act that echoes the modus operandi used against her mother, Gisele Pelicot, who had already reported the same abuse.
With her complaint, Caroline said she wanted to send a message to other victims, urging them never to give up. She accused her father of ‘rape, attempted rape, sexual assault and administering substances that alter the state of discernment’ to commit the abuse.
Dominique Pelicot has already been sentenced to 20 years in prison for seducing his wife Gisele, forcing her to suffer sexual abuse for years. Caroline hopes that justice will now be served against her as well, so that her father will pay for the crimes committed against her and her mother.
