Waiter arrested accused of supplying drugs to Liam Payne before his death
A breakthrough in the investigation into the death of British singer Liam Payne, who was found lifeless in a Buenos Aires hotel. Braian Paiz arrested on charges of delivering cocaine
New revelations in the case of Liam Payne, the British singer found dead in Buenos Aires in October 2024. One of the five people accused of supplying the singer with drugs, Braian Paiz, has been arrested. The 24-year-old waiter is accused of delivering cocaine to Payne two days before the singer fell from the balcony of his hotel room.
According to the investigation, Paiz allegedly met Payne on 14 October and accompanied him to room 310, where the drug delivery took place. Paiz’s house in Budge, Buenos Aires province, was searched by the police, and the man was taken to court. Paiz had initially denied all charges, but the Argentinean justice confirmed his role in the case. Provisional detention was ordered for two of the five people involved in the case.
