A private jet-ambulance carrying six Mexican nationals, including a sick child, crashed in a commercial and residential area in north-east Philadelphia, causing a violent fire that involved surrounding houses and cars.

None of the aircraft’s occupants survived the impact. Authorities fear there may also be casualties among residents of the affected area.
