The New York Police Department has issued a warning to managers in the insurance and private mutual industry, urging them to keep their guard up after the discovery of a target list circulated online following the assassination of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thomson.
According to an official bulletin, comments about the names and salaries of other health insurance industry executives are circulating on the web. In addition, posters with the words ‘wanted’ have been put up in several areas of Manhattan, raising concerns about the safety of key industry figures.
