Conflicts in the Middle East: missile attacks, Israeli raids and deaths

Houthis claim attack on Israel, Netanyahu confirms operations in Yemen. One Israeli casualty and Israeli raids against Hezbollah

Yemen’s Houthi claimed a missile attack against Israel, saying they targeted Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport with a ‘hypersonic ballistic missile’ and also attacked a target in the city with drones, as well as a ship in the Arabian Sea. However, the Israeli Forces (IDF) announced that the missile was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace, and no injuries were reported. Some flights were diverted as a precautionary measure, and air raid sirens sounded in various regions of Israel.

In response, Israel confirmed attacks against Houthi targets in Yemen, including targets in the capital Sana’a. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his determination to ‘eradicate this terrorist arm’ linked to Iran.

In Herzliya, a 70-year-old Israeli woman was killed in a terrorist attack, and the attacker was neutralised by security guards.

In Lebanon, Israeli forces conducted raids against Hezbollah targets in the Bekaa Valley, accusing the organisation of using civilian infrastructure for terrorist activities and the transfer of weapons to target Israeli civilians.

In the West Bank, a Palestinian security services officer was killed in Jenin during clashes with terrorists, according to local sources.
