Dopo aver liquidato in tre set lo statunitense Christopher Eubanks, Jannik Sinner affronterà oggi, mercoledì 29 maggio, il francese Richard Gasquet nel secondo turno del Roland Garros 2024. Il match è previsto per le 20.15 sul campo Philippe Chatrier di Parigi e sarà trasmesso in diretta su Eurosport (canali Sky 210 e 211 e in streaming su Now).

Per gli analisti, l’azzurro, attualmente numero due del mondo e seconda testa di serie, non dovrebbe incontrare difficoltà contro il 37enne transalpino, numero 124 del mondo e presente nel tabellone grazie a una wild-card, ma ex top ten.

Nel primo turno, disputato lunedì sul campo Suzanne Lenglen, il 22enne altoatesino ha sconfitto Eubanks, numero 46 del ranking ATP, con il punteggio di 6-3, 6-3, 6-4, in due ore e dieci minuti.
