(Adnkronos) – Gli esperti di conservazione lanciano l’allarme: in Francia rimangono solo 130 linci adulte. Lo ha dichiarato l’associazione “Centre Athenas”. I test condotti sugli esemplari mostrano che la diversità genetica delle linci è così bassa che, se non si interviene con urgenza, la specie si estinguerà localmente entro i prossimi 30 anni. Storicamente le linci sono diffuse in tutta l’Eurasia, ma i loro numeri sono crollati nel tempo a causa della perdita di habitat, del bracconaggio e della bassa varietà genetica.
