Iran Revolutionary Guards Threaten Google, Meta, and Apple

Iran Revolutionary Guards Threaten Google, Meta, and Apple

Tehran warns that major U.S. tech firms could face attacks if more regime leaders are killed

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued a warning targeting major U.S. technology companies, including Google, Meta, and Apple, stating they could be attacked if further Iranian regime officials are killed. The announcement also named 16 other companies, accusing them of complicity in what the Guards described as “targeted assassinations.”

According to the statement, starting at 8:00 p.m. Tehran time on the following day, the listed companies should “expect the destruction of their important units in response to every assassination in Iran.” Employees of these firms were advised to leave their workplaces immediately if they wish to remain safe.

The warning comes amid intensified U.S. and Israeli operations against Iran. At a Pentagon press conference, the U.S. Secretary of Defense described the coming days as decisive, noting that Iran has limited military options. He added that the new Iranian regime should exercise caution and seek a diplomatic agreement, highlighting that President Donald Trump aims to negotiate, but that military measures will continue with renewed intensity if Iran refuses.

The Revolutionary Guards’ threat expands the scope of the conflict, potentially extending attacks from government and military targets to major commercial and technology infrastructure.
