Silvio Berlusconi, leader di Forza Italia e affetto da leucemia mielomonocitica cronica, è stato ricoverato in terapia intensiva presso il San Raffaele di Milano a causa di un’infezione polmonare. Questa è la sua seconda notte in ospedale, ma sembra stia rispondendo bene alle cure e ha trascorso una notte tranquilla.

Oggi verranno effettuati ulteriori accertamenti e si prevede che ci vorranno alcuni giorni per valutare l’efficacia delle terapie in corso. Non sono previsti bollettini medici al momento e il medico curante, Alberto Zangrillo, non ha rilasciato dichiarazioni. Antonio Tajani, ministro degli Esteri e coordinatore di Forza Italia, ha parlato con il professor Zangrillo e ha riferito che Berlusconi sta reagendo positivamente alle cure e che la sua voce era forte e squillante durante una telefonata. Tajani ha anche sottolineato che Berlusconi è un leone e che, nonostante i problemi di salute, è ancora fisicamente forte.
