London, 365 arrests at demonstration against Palestine Action ban
The group has been declared a terrorist organization. The decision by Home Secretary Yvette Cooper dates back to last month
365 people were arrested in London during a demonstration in support of Palestine Action, an organization recently banned as a terrorist group. This was reported by the British media, citing an update from the Metropolitan Police after hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the afternoon at Parliament Square for an event promoted by the Defend Our Juries collective.
The ban on Palestine Action, decided last month by Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, establishes that membership or support of the organization constitutes a crime, punishable by up to 14 years in prison.
