The model accuses the influencer of physical and psychological abuse during their relationship, while Tate dismisses the allegations as an attempt to obtain money
Andrew Tate is being sued by ex-girlfriend Brianna Stern, a model who accuses the influencer of subjecting her to sexual assault and physical abuse during the ten months of their relationship. The complaint, filed in Los Angeles, describes alleged physical and emotional abuse, with Stern seeking a restraining order against Tate.
In the legal document, Stern recounts an incident in March at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where after an initially consensual relationship, Tate allegedly became violent, insulting and strangling her. Stern claims that despite her pleas, Tate continued to assault her, going so far as to hit her repeatedly on the head and face. Furthermore, he allegedly threatened to kill her, saying: ‘If you ever betray me, I will kill you’.
The complaint goes on to allege that Tate would emotionally manipulate Stern from the beginning of the relationship, which began when the model met him on a business trip to Romania. Stern explained his decision to publicly denounce Tate, admitting his fear and difficulty in accepting that he had been abused.
Tate’s lawyer, Joseph McBride, dismissed the allegations, calling them a ‘blatant quest for money’ and said he was ready to defend Tate in court, promising that the truth would emerge in his favour. Meanwhile, Tate, back in Romania, is under investigation together with his brother Tristan for child trafficking, sexual intercourse with minors and money laundering. The two brothers are also the subject of a European arrest warrant for further rape and trafficking charges, with extradition to the UK to face legal proceedings.
