Eagles triumph in Super Bowl: Chiefs defeated 40-22
Philadelphia dominates NFL final in New Orleans: Mahomes in trouble, Hurts MVP
The Philadelphia Eagles are the new NFL champions after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 40-22 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Nick Sirianni’s team dominated the Super Bowl right from the start, taking a 24-0 lead in the first half.
The performance of quarterback Jalen Hurts, who was elected MVP of the game, was decisive. He was the author of two touchdown passes and a personal score on a run. The Eagles’ defence put Patrick Mahomes in crisis, who suffered three interceptions – one of which was returned directly for a touchdown – and did not find the opponent’s end zone until the fourth period, when the gap was unbridgeable.
For Philadelphia, this is the second title in its history, following the 2018 triumph, while the Chiefs see the dream of a third consecutive Super Bowl fade away.
