A Boeing 737-800 caught fire after an emergency landing at Denver International Airport. 12 minor injuries and critical evacuation operations

An American Airlines plane with 178 people on board caught fire on the runway after an emergency landing at Denver International Airport. The Boeing 737-800, which had departed from Colorado Springs and was bound for Dallas Fort Worth, had to make an emergency landing due to problems with one of its engines, which caught fire as the plane was completing ground manoeuvres.

Many passengers were forced to evacuate by walking on the wing of the plane before using the emergency slides. In the end, 12 people were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
