The billionaire changes his profile on X to an iconic image showing him with a chainsaw, a symbol of Javier Milei’s campaign
Elon Musk has decided to give himself a new nickname: “Dogefather,” inspired by the famous movie “The Godfather.” The billionaire, known for being the owner of Tesla and SpaceX, made the nickname official by changing his profile picture on X, the social network formerly known as Twitter.
The image now prominently displayed on his account depicts him wearing sunglasses and a gold chain around his neck while holding a chainsaw, an object that has become a symbol of Argentine President Javier Milei’s election campaign. The chainsaw represents the cuts in government spending that Milei promises to implement in his term, a goal also shared by Musk. Also engraved on the chainsaw is Musk’s name along with the words “Viva la libertad, carajo” (“Long live freedom, damn it” in Spanish).
The meeting between Musk and Milei took place during the latter’s visit to the United States, where the Argentine president is scheduled to meet with prominent figures such as Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the IMF, and Ajay Banga, president of the World Bank. Milei will also attend the Conservative Political Action Conference, an event that will feature Donald Trump.
